WMO nominated for WAMI award!

In a surprise-but welcome-announcement, we were happy to see World Minus One listed as one of the bands nominated for the 30th-Annual WAMI awards!  We're one of the contenders of the Hard Rock Artist of the Year category.  It's great to scroll down the list and see all the awesome talent Wisconsin has to offer.  All-in-all, not bad for our first year as a band!

(11.14.09)  WMO coming to Rock Band!

World Minus One will be one of the first available artists in the soon-to-launch Rock Band Network, a new distribution platform launching on Xbox 360.  RockYourOwnBand.com will be creating the game track for WMO's song 'Still Alive', which can be downloaded worldwide via the Xbox Marketplace within the Rock Band 2 game.  Stay tuned for the official launch date, and check out the video to the left for a preview of what's to come...

(11.01.09) WMO wins WAMI Fall Seminar contest

WMO's track 'Still Alive' was given the 1st place nod by a panel of judges at the Wisconsin Area Music Industy's (WAMI) Fall Seminar CD Roulette.  Chosen first out of 17 tracks, the win will give WMO the opportunity to perform at a high-profile event to be announced in the future.  We'll give you a hint: It's a fest....in summer...
